I don't know anything about technology, but it has come to my attention that certain services, like, for instance, the ability to create a "Blog", are now offered with idiots like me in mind. So, I am seizing the opportunity to gather in one spot my journal/diary entries, quotes that catch my attention, photos, music, rantings and ravings, musings on books, flicks, restaurants, and travel, and whatever else might coast or ooze in and out of my mind.
I also want to avoid clogging my friends' email inboxes every time I have a thought to express or an article to recommend, especially since I'm sure that what interests me most likely interests them a lot less . . . .
As far as the title of my blog is concerned, I picked it simply because it reminds me of one of my favorite places in the world: the enchanting island of Capri, Italy. If you haven't been there, please turn off your computer, tell your colleagues you are stepping out to the bank or dentist, hail a cab to the airport, and check in on standby for the next flight to Naples, Italy. It is a short ferry ride from there.
