I was hoping to keep up a trickle of posts from the tiny 3 mile x 1/2 mile island in the Bahamas last week, but sitting in front of a computer screen for more than the bare minimum number of minutes when there is a beach with sand the consistency of confectioners' sugar and the color of a pink pastel Ben Silver cashmere sweater right outside just doesn't make any sense!

The real estate market on this petite paradise has rocketed into some sort of Nantucket-like orbit. All of the houses shown above are priced in the millions, and this next house, situated on a postage stamp-sized lot with no views whatsoever, is currently for sale for $600,000. I'm not kidding:
